2016 was a year of great achievements for Olmeda Orígenes! We have started selling in 5 different countries, we have made 26 trips, 8 international fairs, 15 gastronomic events around the world in America, Europe, Asia and Africa which together results in 250 days out of Madrid!

Starting in January we have been in one event with some clients in Cambodia. In the next month we have participated with our partner Chef Middle East in Gulfood Fair 2016.

In March we have attended in the FOODEX JAPAN 2016 for the first time and Food Expo Greece in Athens and we went to Tavola Fair in Belgium.

In May we have made a wonderful trip with our Italian client throw Cabrales Spain and we have achieved 2 new countries: Switzerland and Slovenia

June was a working month with a lot of events: recording a TV cooking show in Albania and Kosovo with the famous Chef Paco Arriola from Francisko Spanish Restaurant, SIAL ASEAN in MANILA! One of the most important trade shows in ASIA and one event with chefs, our partner and our clients in Thailand

In July we have started Olmedatelier, with tutorial videos of Spanish recipes with our best artisan products! And on august we were really proud to see our Olmeda Origenes products in #UefaEuroSupercup 2016!

In October we went to Greece again to attend the Worldchefs Congress & Expo 2016 in Thessaloniki Greece, then we flew to Central and South America closing our trip with the participation in program of the Radio FmTIEMPO in Santiago in Chile.

And almost at the end of the years we have had big events like fairs in Copenhagen, Denmark and Freiburg, Germany.

Also in Navember took place the first OlmedaExperience in Mauritius Island in 5 stars LUX BELLE MARE* Resort and Hotels with the famous chef José Valdespino and one special OlmedaExperience in Dubai with the best Spanish chefs!

Finally we celebrated the award of Torta Extremeña Cheese Olmeda Orígenes being the second best world cheese in the contest World Cheese Awards 2016.

And to close the year now in December, on Monday he have finished 100 Christmas hampers!

Besides the events we are very proud of the products releases: Cooked Octopus ¨Pulpo¨, Red Mojo Sauce AYANTO from Canary Island, Smoked Sardines and White Tuna from the Cantabrian Sea.

Every year we look for original, artisan and high quality products to expand our catalog and be aware of the novelties, attend our customers demand and show to the world what Spain does best!

In this year we have learned a lot with our artisans’ producers, partners and clients and we are more than ready to increase our activities next year!
