Torta Extremeña cheese
Torta Extremeña cheese by Cremositos has won for the second time the Super Gold medal at World Cheese Awards. This edition was celebrated in Norway and 3,472 different cheese participated. This extraordinary cheese is made in Badajoz from raw merina sheep‘s milk and coagulated with vegetal rennet (cynara cardunculus) and cured for 60 days in natural drying facilities. To enjoy this cheese you need to take the torta out of the refrigerator for 1 hour and cut the lid. It becomes creamy and spreadable, perfect to enjoy with artisan bread.
Artisan Mahón Cheese D.O. Olmeda Origenes
Another good new is that our Artisan Mahón Cheese D.O. Olmeda Origenes by F. Quintana has won the SUPER gold prize in the World Cheese Awards in the category raw cow’s cheese. Strictly regulated by the Denomination of Origin Mahón, semi-cured has 3 months curation in natural ‘cavas’ and cured has 6 months curation and hand-refining.
This means good news for the company and that’s the reason we are so happy to share this information with you. We encourage you to try both of the cheeses because you wont regret this decision. Ideal for eating with our picos or some bread. Also you can accompany the cheeses with our ham or with some of our cold meats.
